Saturn is your middle finger
Do you know the planet Saturn? It is immeasurably beautiful. It is the planet associated with Capricorn. Capricorn is the zodiac sign that runs from December 22 to January 20. Look in your horoscope and see where you have Saturn placed. In the hands, Capricorn is located on the Mount of Venus (by the thumb, see possibly another post) and draws energy from the middle finger.
Saturn is proper, serious and shows how and where your self-discipline and your sense of responsibility is. It is your authority and your leadership. It provides structure, responsibility and an overview. It’s your backbone. You set boundaries with Saturn. It is also the lord of karma!
In palmistry, Saturn is your middle finger. It is the finger that shows that you have an overview, courage, leadership, authority, self-discipline and a sense of responsibility. All fingers, lines, mountains and squares also have shadows. The shadow of your middle finger is that it is controlling, inferior, impatient and anxious. In hands, some middle fingers have a line that can downgrade you in one second. It runs on the back of the hand like an arc on a tall man’s 3rd link. However, it can only be read if there is energy in it.
Saturn’s energy delays things. It procrastinates everything. On the other hand, it does things properly. It is about duties before pleasure. It is governed by rules, structure and planning.
Saturn in a Blind Drawing
When I read a Blind Drawing, I always keep an eye on the middle finger. How tall is it? How much does it take up compared to the rest of the drawing, does it draw energy from its own element or is it drained? The middle finger always tells. Try making a Blind Drawing yourself. What does your middle finger look like? How does it work for you? Do you have a small middle finger? Or is it big? The more balance and size you have on your middle finger, the more you are everything that Saturn stands for.
A great many blind drawings show that Saturn is under pressure here in 2020. And there is nothing to say about that with Jupiter at his side. We know Jupiter’s energy from Sagittarius. Jupiter is active and energetic. It does something. It acts. It cannot just stand and wait. Jupiter has an ability to discern and judge.
I wrote yesterday about Saturn (your physical and mental point of view) and Jupiter (your “work” finger) being in conjunction. This means that the two planets are very close together. And gives energy to each other. You might be lucky enough to see the planets in the sky on December 21st this year (or in the days around here). The sky needs to be clear and you should look south/southwest. Read more here
Furthermore, pluto is also involved. Pluto is an outer planet. And it provides unexpected energy. Something we cannot prepare for. It destroys – in order to build something up again. It represents life and death. When Pluto is conjunct to Saturn, it destroys existing systems in order to rebuild them.
