The heart line
The heart line tells us something about how you deal with emotions, relationships, relationships and moods. It is your emotional awareness. It also shows your pain, trauma and betrayal. The heart line is the energy that you meet within yourself. And sends it out to others. The heart line is influenced by external energy, but also heredity, environment and experiences. The heart line in your left hand shows your innermost feelings. How you can also be. Your heart line in your right hand is what you show the world around you. How you affect others. These two lines can easily be different.
The heart line can be curved and end in the area between Saturn (middle finger) and Jupiter (index finger). This says something about you handling your emotions without too much control, but you also don’t want to be reserved.
If your heart line is straighter and less long (often ending under Saturn), you are much more reserved. You stay inside yourself (Saturn is you). The heart line can also extend far out into the area under Jupiter. This indicates that you seek action and control in your emotional life. If you’re not careful, you can be perceived as controlling.
The lifeline
The lifeline, also known as the energy line, is the line that runs around Mount Venus. It represents our physical power and conscious expression. It makes you take action. It is your physical energies in life. It is your engine. The start of the lifeline says something about your ambition, independence and determination. The lifeline starts in the area under your index finger (Jupiter) and thumb (Mars).
The higher up the lifeline goes towards your index finger, the more ambitions and opportunities there are for you. If the line points downwards towards Mars, you are more limited in your expression. The more power, the further your lifeline moves towards the center of your hand. This power is also connected to your foundation, your base and your family. You need this base to connect with the energies of the lifeline. Islands, breaks, loss of lifeline energy, warts, crossing lines and redness are visible signs that your lifeline is seeking attention.
The Fate line
The fate line comes in many forms and has different beginnings and endings. You can have multiple fate lines. But there can also be just one. The line of destiny expresses your lifestyle, but also your shifts and direction in life. It is a big part of the other lines, which are read simultaneously with the time reading in your hands. If you have one fate line without major fluctuations, you have a certain degree of continuity in your life. You are at least calmly affected by this. You want to do your job. Depending on your lifeline, you also seek security, peace and often predictability.
The destiny line should always be studied closely, as there can quickly be a deviation. If you have multiple lines of destiny, you are a person who has multiple paths to take in life. There are several directions for you, and you may have hobbies or other leisure interests that are very active and necessary for you. You are often exploratory and rarely let yourself be limited. If you have a break in a line of destiny (the line stops and moves on to a new line), you will experience a shift in your life. This could be a job change, but it could also be a major change in the way you live. The line of destiny often has lines that cross. These are small stops in life, changes or something you need to fix/look into. This is natural for a destiny line. You may also have an island on your destiny line. This is a period of strong inner work that can lead to growth.
The main line
The Main Line is the line that tells you something about how you manage your thoughts, your mind, your drive, your immersion and your intellect. The main line is often referred to as the “mental line”. The head line will connect to the heart line, as emotions and thoughts are connected. The distance between these two lines (the head and heart line) is important to look at. Too much distance (more than 1 cm) can create a gap between emotions and thoughts (you take longer to act), while less distance (less than 1 cm) means you need to act on what you feel.
A very long straight main line that ends in the area under your little finger shows that you are a person with drive, analytical skills and a lot of thoughts. Perhaps you’re a “nerd” or looking for numbers, letters or jobs that challenge your mind. You like complex tasks. If you have a short major, you need a more physical drive. You benefit from doing something with your body/hands rather than your head. Your learning is through sensation and experience rather than reading everything. You are the one who makes things happen. Your action is more important than thinking. The main line can also curve downwards and awaken your creativity, inner space, immersion and a strong connection to your emotions that makes you forget time and place.
Sign in your lines:
The Life Line, Heart Line, Main Line and Destiny Line are the 4 major ones in your hands. They work together and can energize each other.
What the 4 lines have in common is that they can have signs on them. The signs are the same, but they give different results. Some of the signs could be:
A triangle on a line is possible success
An “island” on a line is a period of challenges that could result in growth
A line running across the main line is a “stop” – often an obstacle
A break in a line can be a major life change
Very strong lines in the hands show a person with drive
Weak lines in the hands show a lack of drive
A myriad of tiny lines show too many thoughts
Adjacent lines show that something new is coming (often to stay)
REMEMBER no line is wrong
They come with learning, growth and insight
Lines can be challenging in nature, but by getting to know them, they can be changed.
