No, it has now moved into your body, where you are more or less daily reminded that there is something you have forgotten to take care of.
Welcome to an important step into the study of Neptune. Neptune is a trauma planet. It lives at the bottom of your hands and often shows itself in the form of you being particularly sensitive or having high intuitive empathy. If you are strongly in both categories, you will also experience that your identity tends to be weakened. You are almost boundaryless in wanting to help or you let others take your place. For who are you really? And who are you if I took the traits highly sensitive and high intuitive empathy away from you? The energy of Neptune is innate in all of us, but depending on how your lines interact in the lower part of the hand, you will need to develop your Neptune skills in accordance with your development.
Neptune wants you to feel instead of think.
Neptune’s trauma points to a lack. A lack that can turn into loneliness if you do not take care of it. It requires a long period of self-reflection to discover what is missing. But when you, in your own therapy and reflection, go so far inward where it is dark and incredibly lonely, I promise you that you will awaken. Neptune is indeed our great master in giving spiritual awakening.
You are trained in the house (look in your horoscope where your Neptune is placed) to have distrust in yourself and even so much that you neglect yourself. It can be difficult to handle this tendency toward confusion and neglect, because it often takes time to realize that it is happening. But in short, you lack self-care, self-confidence, and self-prioritization in the house where it is placed.
Neptune represents the boundaryless energy. In the house where it is placed, it is important to work with setting boundaries. Then the integration of the energy arises, and you will feel whole. You know you are in the process of healing when you experience a strong sense of self. Not before. It requires hard work to take care of Neptune, but it is all worth it. Inner wholeness is about being. When you cannot be, you find something outside yourself so you can endure being. You look for ways to escape. This is where addiction arises. Addiction is a large chapter in itself, and it is also found in the hands. But in short, alcohol, cigarettes, other people’s opinions, excessive shopping behavior, the mobile phone, food, thoughts, etc. can be the addiction you turn to.
Remember that Neptune, energetically speaking, is only boundaryless because you are too much outside yourself. You send energy outward instead of giving to yourself first. This is where the boundlessness arises. When you begin to set your boundaries, Neptune in your house and sign takes on a completely different effect. You become whole.
And now to the future. The last months of 2025. Neptune in transit (Neptune’s current position) is important to focus on when reading the next couple of months. Especially because we are in the final phase of Neptune’s cycle. A cycle that ends on January 26, 2026. When we are at the end of a cycle, it feels like sitting and watching the washing machine and it does not finish. It feels slow. That is how Neptune energy is. It is slow. So slow that you only have one choice, and that is to breathe. Slowly and calmly. To dare to be.
Neptune’s current placement makes you tired.
Neptune’s current placement comes with intense and critical energy. The placement also means that there is an ending. It is the final lesson – something that is solved or dissolved before Neptune moves into Aries in January. For many, it can be so difficult to be in Neptune energy that you look for other ways. Because your impatience grows. You may want to escape. But often there are no paths to step out onto. Neptune has taken care of that. That is exactly what Neptune energy can do. Place you in a situation where you simply must be.
