Who is the most sensitive? The most creative? The least jealous? The wisest? The most spiritual? Yes, which zodiac sign is the most spiritual? Who wins that title?
We often look at the zodiac sign – the position of the Sun when you were born. That’s the one most people know.
But when I search for the most spiritual zodiac sign, I start somewhere entirely different. Because spirituality isn’t just about your birth date – it’s about depth, energy, and connection to something greater.
It’s about all of you. All zodiac signs live within you. We simply forget to speak about it – often because we don’t know it. Every zodiac sign is spiritual. But before I reveal which one is the most spiritual, I want to clarify what it really means to be spiritual.
The word “spirituality” comes from the Latin word spiritus, meaning spirit, breath of life, or breath. Originally, it referred to that which relates to the spirit (as opposed to the body).
Spirituality doesn’t necessarily have to do with religion – it can be religious, but it can also be entirely personal and free of dogma.
The word refers to:
- A sense of inner connectedness
- A search for meaning and purpose
- A feeling of being part of something greater
- An inner path – e.g., through meditation, prayer, healing, nature, art, or silence
We often talk about how we experience spirituality. And it’s not just about your Sun sign. In fact, there’s much more that influences your personal spirituality. So how do I determine the most spiritual zodiac sign?
I look at your Moon sign’s placement, your Ascendant, and the planets that have the greatest influence on your spiritual journey. Especially Neptune & Jupiter play a crucial role. And I also look at what’s happening in your 9th and 12th house.
The Moon sign is essential for how you feel, how you connect with your inner self, and how you express your deepest emotions. The Moon has the power to guide us through our inner world, making it one of the most spiritual components of your chart.
But the Moon sign can’t stand alone. The Ascendant – your awakening in the world – reveals how you see yourself and how you step forward. What energies are you called to develop to get closer to your highest form of spirituality? This is where your outer energy meets the inner, and it’s a key point to understand when exploring your spiritual being.
But it doesn’t stop there. I also examine the houses where these planets and signs are placed.
If your Neptune is placed in the 12th house – the house of connection to the mystical and the spiritual – it may make you more inclined to seek spiritual enlightenment.
Neptune on your Ascendant makes you practically a physical angel.
So, which signs are found in your most spiritual areas?

When I look at the degree of spirituality, I also use the degrees in your chart. A planet placed at an early degree of a sign (e.g., 0° or 29°) can carry special meaning in how it expresses itself.
0° symbolizes an extremely fast energy. If your Neptune or Jupiter is placed at 0°, you can’t help but feel it – often even before you consciously notice.
All of this leads to one conclusion:
It’s not just your Sun sign – or the few examples I’ve given – that determine how spiritual you are. It’s the overall energy in your chart, how your soul expresses itself through different signs, planets, and aspects.
But also, how you live and speak your words and actions every day.

Sending from the heart – with love – is one of the most spiritual acts we can do.

Forgiveness is another vital spiritual practice.
When we forgive, we free ourselves from the burden that anger or revenge can bring.
It’s an energy that cleanses the soul.
Forgiveness is not just for those who’ve wronged us – it’s especially for yourself.

Acceptance is a gift you give both yourself and others.
To be accepting means to embrace differences without judgment and be open to new perspectives. Others can very well do things differently than you – and that’s okay.
Boundaries are just as important in spiritual practice as love and forgiveness.
Boundaries aren’t just about protecting yourself from others’ energy – they’re about protecting your own energy. It’s about creating balance, so you’re not consumed by others’ feelings or needs.
Letting go is a spiritual act that can be difficult but incredibly powerful.
It’s about releasing what drains you or no longer serves you.
Letting go makes room for new energy and new possibilities.
Selflessness is one of the finest forms of spiritual energy.
When we give without expecting anything in return, we connect with the universal flow of goodwill and compassion.
Understanding energy is a central part of spiritual development.
When you learn to recognize and work with the energies around you, you can better navigate your own life.
You’ll discover that waiting before reacting has strong healing power.
Lastly, curiosity and seeking are foundational traits for any spiritual journey.
To be curious means opening our minds to new possibilities and ideas.
It means asking questions and being willing to explore the answers that drive you.
These words are not just ordinary concepts – they are keys to a deeper understanding of your inner life and your connection to the world around you.
They help you navigate life in a more conscious and loving way – which is the essence of spirituality.
So the next time you look at your birth chart, remember that spirituality is not about one sign – it’s the interplay of everything happening in your chart.
