What Is Healing
In a world where everything moves fast, and we often lose ourselves in achievements and plans, many long for inner peace, balance, and the feeling of coming home to themselves. Healing is often used as a quick fix – an external state we reach out for. Where we expect the healer to solve our challenge through an energy release.

Healing is not hocus pocus. Healing is a power within you that must be awakened. A healer can help you with that. Or even better – you can do it yourself. It’s an invitation to feel, release, and rebuild – from within.

The word “healing” comes from the English word “to heal,” which means to make whole or to bring back into balance.

It is important to understand that healing is a process where you work on releasing physical, emotional, or energetic imbalances. Where you bring yourself back into balance. It’s an invitation to feel, release, and rebuild – from within.

It is a practice where either you or a healer helps create calm and relief in your body, mind, and soul. It’s a state of deep connection with your inner self – often with a sense of relief, release, or peace.

In its essence, healing is about restoring the connection to the wholeness and health within us – that which is not governed by fear, trauma, or old patterns. It is a movement towards wholeness. It takes time. The cause of the imbalance has a date. If the present moment is far from that date, it may take time to restore wholeness. It may require many healings.

Healing is not only about “feeling better,” but about reconnecting to who you truly are – beneath the layers of old patterns, trauma, stress, and unresolved emotions that many of us carry.
Your imbalances can manifest physically as illness or mentally, which you often feel in your mood.

Healing can happen energetically, emotionally, physically, or mentally – and often all at once. It is not always visible what happens during a healing, but it can be felt. Some experience warmth, cold, tears, or deep peace. Others feel that something is released – without being able to put it into words.

Healing begins long before you book an appointment. It begins the moment you decide to take care of yourself.

How Does It Work?
Healing activates the body’s and mind’s own ability to heal. We are all born with inner wisdom and an innate system constantly trying to create balance. When we heal – through a session, meditation, touch, or intention – this system is supported in “getting back into flow.”
Healing works where there is imbalance – often unconsciously. It finds its way to what you’re ready to release and what you need support with.

I believe the brain is the world’s best pharmacy. What you believe in becomes real – both in the body and in your life. Thoughts and emotions affect your nervous system, hormones, and cells. Spiritually, we say that energy follows attention – and what you focus on grows. When something feels safe and true, the body opens, and healing can take place. The intention becomes a guiding signal – a bridge between thought and change.

That’s where the magic begins.
You don’t have to understand everything to experience the change. It starts with a decision to believe that something else is possible.

Does It Have the Same Effect If I Do It Myself?
There is great power in taking responsibility for your own healing – and many experience strong results through self-healing. I have done countless self-healings myself, and they’ve had far greater effect than if I had paid someone else. The most skilled healer is myself. And so are you. You are the most skilled healer. Even if you’re sitting there thinking, “How do I do it?”

Receiving healing from someone else can feel like being seen and lifted into something greater. It can provide a mirror, a direction, and support that self-healing alone can’t always give.
But there is something deeply beautiful and powerful about seeking inward – rather than always seeking outward.

How Do I Do It?
I use healing files and hypnosis tracks from YouTube. Type in healing, meditation, frequency healing, or hypnosis in the search bar. You can’t go too wrong.
When I’ve found what I need, I find a quiet place where I have my blanket, blindfold, and headphones with me. I lie down and make sure I am undisturbed and comfortable. I play the audio file. I focus on my breathing. Close my eyes and find peace through my breath. Any thoughts that come, I let them be. They’re allowed to be there. They are a part of me.

How Do I Know What Needs Healing?
Deep within you, there is something that “nags” at you. Something you once accepted. Often, you already know it – maybe not with your head, but with your body or heart.
That which hurts. What you keep returning to. What drains you. What you avoid.

Your body and soul have a limit to what they will tolerate. That limit has been crossed, and the energy has entered your body. That is precisely the energy that must be released.

Healing (on the table) can never stand alone. Healing is a process. The process is about reaching recognition and identifying exactly what is nagging you. When you know that, you can act. When you act, you heal. When you act on exactly what crossed your boundary, one single healing session is often enough. The rest is up to you and your body. But you must give it time. With time comes wisdom.

Everything can be healed – everything can be resolved and released.
That doesn’t mean everything will be just as it was before. But it does mean that even the most complex pains and old wounds can be released, changed, and find peace.
Maybe not always in the way you expect – but in the way your soul longs for.

Healing happens when you dare to look yourself honestly in the eye. When you dare to feel what has been ignored. When you decide that it’s no longer okay to carry what isn’t yours or suppress what longs to be expressed.

When you dare to act!
Healing requires courage – but not strength in the traditional sense. It requires presence. A willingness to listen. To feel. To make space for a new reality.

It starts in you – on the table, your couch, in the forest, on a bench, in stillness – in your breath.
And right there – in that moment where you dare to take the first step – you open the door.
And this is where change begins.
For what has been seen can no longer be unseen.
And what is met with love begins to heal.

I wish you a loving process.
